A Day of VEL-I 2023

Usually in our MEC Campus, we always conduct, “a one-day hands-on workshop on Automotive Designing, Ultrasonic testing, PAUT, Oil and Gas Piping. However, this time we decided to conduct something better and bigger to enhance our Engineer’s career. Therefore, This VEL-I hit our minds. It is more like a walk-in interview for the B.E. Mechanical Engineering fresher who passed out in 2023. Because this interview session will improve their chances of landing their jobs. In addition, this Vacant Eligibility Interview could increase the possibility of getting the job we concentrated more on selecting the engineers than shortlisting. The first phase – Students eagerly attend the interview from 9 am onwards. We know the path to reaching our goal is not always easy. This ensures a positive impression on a potential employer. The interview was kick-started into an aptitude test. Multiple aptitude questions were given to the students depending on their post applied. Moreover, the time duration is given up to 1.30 hours.

The second phase – After completing the aptitude test we make a valuation of those answer papers. Then the second phase started with Face-to-Face Interview conducted by Mr. Saravanan in other companies, this may be a hard round but in this VEL-I we discussed with the student their goal and the knowledge presuming their goal. Moreover, what will the requirement for a job? So that we considered this student had proper knowledge of our requirements.

The Final Phase – In this final phase, Mr. Kabilan Kumaravadivel gave the announcement to the selected candidate. Moreover, we discussed the future job opportunities for the unselected candidate. If they make workout on their skills and knowledge in the opportunities. We assure them of future opportunities.

 A Prequel of This VEL-I Event. Mr. Kabilan Kumaravadivel had posted an announcement in the name of the title for a fresher’s job.

Our General Manager Mr. Saravanan created the digital poster along with a Google form. The digital poster was distributed through social media https://youtu.be/-2T1xXOymrQ. The students who applied for the interview by paying just Rs.23 for registration purposes. Because the interview venue with Google Maps https://g.co/kgs/2xUNh3 was shared through voice calls and sent mail for the registered students. An interview card was given to all the students who appeared for the interview. Those who came looking for design work were sent to an innovatory room.

Meanwhile, Mr. Kabilan Kumaravadivel the Founder and CEO of Manchester Engineer Centre also gave Career Guidance.
